What an absolute honour to be invited to award CC’s in my beloved breed after over thirty years of owning Dobermanns. Many thanks to the whole committee of SWDC for giving me this opportunity. I think with the exception of the heart problems the breed is in a very good place at the moment with some truly excellent examples of the breed in the ring and plenty of really promising youngsters, but I do feel that some very nice dogs are let down by sloppy handling and lack of ringcraft training.

Two Champion males absent 1 W Fix Up Look Sharp just turned 7yrs blk/rust; hard to believe that is without a Ch title; such a proud carriage; squarely balanced; correct elongated blunt wedge of a head that was clean cheeked with parallels; gd eye & ear; gd neck & backline to correct tailset; great power & accuracy behind; just a touch slacker coming on & at pastern; was fortunate to have him as the dog to “get my eye in”. BVIS against a v typical b. who wasn’t holding her outline quite as “sharp”.

1^st Korifey Reckless: Very smart 7 month boy. Lovely outline, stood on excellent feet, well off for angulation front and rear and nice head and expression. Very well balanced and moved so well. Should have a very bright future.

2^nd Korifey Heartbreaker To Sacaria:  Another very nice puppy of sound conformation. Lovely on the move but I personally would prefer a touch more substance. Shows a lot of promise.

3^rd Korifey Axl At Amious: Promising puppy

Very difficult class as I really liked both of these dogs for different reasons.

1^st Jojavik Shaken Not Stirred: Lovely promising puppy that is built on sound conformation. Very nice head and expression, excellent feet and good topline and tailset. Showed lovely balance on the move. My BPD on the day and pushed hard for BPIS

2^nd Supeta Scorchio: Lovely puppy that should go far. Squarer than 1 but too much slope too the topline for my personal taste. Love his head and expression.

1^st Sacaria Whisper Of Hope: One that has caught my eye the few times iv watched Dobes this year and Wow he didn’t disappoint on the day. I just loved this dog from the second he strutted into the ring. Everything I love in a male dobe. Built so right and moves so well, he just fills the eye. Just the correct balance between substance and elegance for me. So unlucky to meet his sire in the challenge. Must make a worthy champion. RCC

2^nd Pursang Shimmy Shimmy: Another nice dog with good promise and unlucky to come against 1^st in this class. Well off for conformation, well balanced and moved out well.

1st Rafthouse Kickback: Nice boy, all male. Well off for conformation. Nice head and expression. Lovely topline and tailset. Moved around the ring well. Bright future for this boy.

2^nd Lateagain Heart On Fire JW: Another smart dog that moves out well but just a little smaller and finer than 1^st

1^st Teuschon The Fierce Knight With Elleonia JW: Very smart dog with a bright future. Lovely head and expression. Excellent conformation. Good feet. Good front. Balanced angulation allowing excellent movement.

2^nd Manzart Zebedee JW: Smart boy. Well off for conformation but just preferred the head on 1st. Another who moved out well.

3^rd Lateagain Let Them All Talk: Nice sound dog

1^st Amazon Alcumlow Love Is Life: Beautiful boy. Well angulated. Great head and expression. Good feet. Excellent topline and tailset.  Well balanced and won out on his sound movement.

2^nd Cockneyoka Dire Straits: Well put together dog. Very sound with a lovely expression. Good feet. Moved out well

3^rd Viemar Sunrise Special: Nicely conformed dog

1^st Swnydwr Wassap: Lovely dog. Handsome head and expression. Well balanced. Excellent angulation. Good feet. Powered around the ring once settled.

2^nd Lateagain Satisfaction JW ShCEx: Sound dog that just lacked that little spark on the day. Well put together. Good head and nice angulation. Moved out well.

1^st Ch/Lux Ch Korifey Vanquish: Stood alone but would win in the very best of company. What a picture he and his handler make. An honour to judge such a true showman and an excellent example of the breed. Perfect blend of substance and elegance. Not an ounce of coarseness. Lovely to see he sired all my principle winners today so he is really stamping his quality on the breed. DCC and BIS

1^st Ch Ashlain Trypiti JW ShCM VW: A bitch iv always liked and a worthy champion. So sound and so well constructed. Lovely head and expression. Excellent angulation and a real mover. Still a lovely showgirl at 8 years old. BVIS
