Thank you to the committee for offering me my first breed club judging appointment. It was a true honour to judge the exhibitors’ beautiful dogs.
I would also like to thank the exhibitors for the entry; it meant a great deal to me.
Overall, it is clear that we currently see various styles within the Dobermann breed, varying in sizes, heads and elegance. That said, I was very pleased with my principal winners.
Minor Puppy Dog
1st – Shalissa’s Louis Vuitton Avec Aquepins Black standard young male, alert expression, dark almond eye with tight lips, would prefer a slightly higher ear set. Arched neck leading to sloping topline. Good forechest, straight pasterns. High tailset which caused some unbalance on the move. Cat-like feet, good condition.
Puppy Dog
1st – Supeta’s Daredevil An elegant yet masculine brown youngster, I really like this young male and I am sure he will have a promising future. Balanced, strong bones and clean outline, well proportioned head, alert and well arched neck leading to good angulations. Well developed forechest, well sprung ribs, cat like feet and well bent stifle. Strong hocks. Excellent condition and moved well around the ring. Pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Show.
Junior Dog
1st – Cockneyoka Commander Very pleasing young black male, elegant with a clean outline. Correct height and well muscled. Good head, dark eye leading to well arched neck. Slightly long top line but this male is still young and needs time to mature. Deep ribs, correct underline and good angulations, with tuck up. Cat-like feet, bold and alert. Good condition. A little unsettled on the move to begin with, but covered the ring well.
2nd – Aniiraz Ajax The Greater Black standard male, well muscled, nice dark markings, you can see he is all male. Almond shaped dark eye and high ear set. Arched neck leading to well developed forechest. Straight pasterns and cat-like feet. Higher tailset than first. Moved with drive. Good condition.

Post Graduate Dog
1st- Krieger’s Mark Miwords at Mandareus Black, muscular, square male. Good head, dark almond eye, correct length of neck and sloping, firm topline. Well developed forechest, well sprung ribs, good angulations, parallelforelegs with well bent stifle, good underline. Strong bones, good condition and moved around the ring with purpose. Pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog.
2nd – Cockneyoka Communique Brown male, still a young dog and plenty of time to develop. Almond shaped dark eye, alert expression and nice ear set, nice rust markings, long pasterns and slightly longer in body. Needed a moment to settle on the move. Moved well once settled and covered the ring well. Good condition.
Limit Dog
1st- Jojavik Shake to Fame Brown standard male with correct proportions, nice head, alert expression. Arched neck leading to well developed forechest and well sprung ribs, correct underline, strong boned. Good reach of drive, and covered the ring well with purpose. Good condition.
Open Dog
1st – Knecht Mirko Black elegant, muscular male. Still retains elegance. Masculine head, alert expression and small neat ears. Correct length of neck, good sloping topline, well developed forechest. Deep well sprung ribs, straight parallel forelegs. Strong boned, good reach and drive, cat-like feet, bold and good condition. Pleased to award him Best Dog.
Minor Puppy Bitch
1st Ruholfia Diya
Elegant standard black bitch, feminine head with good expression, small ear set, dark eye. Nice length of neck and slopping topline. Correct depth of chest, well sprung rib, would prefer more tuck up. Good angulations, still plenty of time to mature. Good condition, slightly unbalanced on the move at the rear.
Puppy Bitch
1st – Supeta’s Black Widow at Evalesco This bitch has previously caught my eye ringside. Black elegant, balanced bitch, good markings, feminine head, small neat earset, correct length of neck, correct tailset and good forechest. Correct underline, good angulation, well bent stifle, cat-like feet. Good condition, well handled and moved with drive and purpose. Pleased to award her Best Puppy Bitch and
Reserve Best Puppy In Show.
2nd – Supeta’s Scarlet Witch for Aniiraz
Brown bitch who is litter sister to 1st. Another elegant bitch, alert and balanced, standard size. Nice head, dark eye and neat ear set. Good angulation and straight pasterns. Again good condition and moved well. Well handled.
Junior Bitch
1st – Kriegers New Illusion An elegant brown bitch with a clean outline, balanced and alert. Good head, dark almond eye with good markings, firm topline and well developed forechest, straightpasterns, good underline and well bent stifle with good angulations. Nice cat-like feet. Good condition, and moved well with purpose and drive.
2nd – Mianna Full Circle with Martifers Feminine black bitch with a clean, balanced outline with an alert expression, dark eye. Well muscled, lighter markings and narrower at the front than first. Straight hocks and cat-like feet. Good condition and handled well.
Graduate Bitch
1st – Supeta’s Debison’s Allure A lovely brown compact standard bitch with a clean balanced profile. Stood clean and true with a good head, almond eye and small earset. Matured and feminine. Firm topline and good angulation both front and rear. Moved well around the ring with drive and purpose.
2nd – Mianna Full Circle with Martifers As above
Post Graduate Bitch
1st Korifey Matchy Matchy Black elegant standard bitch with clean outline, nice dark rust marking of correct proportions. Good head, dark eye, neat ear set. Right length of muzzle, tight lips. Correct firm topline, good width of chest, deep ribs, parallel forelegs, well bent stifle. Handled well and moved with purpose. Balanced.
Limit Bitch
1st Teuschons Mirror Force Black standard bitch, of good size, dark rust markings, dark eye, tight lips, high set ears. Correct topline and good width of chest, correct underline, good angulations with straight forelegs, cat-like feet, bold and alert, good condition.
2nd – Aritaur Cirilla With Philmont Another standard black bitch, nice head and clean outline, dark almond shaped eye, tight lips and cat like feet, good underline and tuck up with good angulation, well bent stifle. Just preferred the movement of 1st.
Open Bitch
1st – Ch/Lux Ch Superta’s Waiting for an Alibi from Korifey A brown elegant, feminine but strong bitch, Great head, dark eye, almond shaped eye with alert expression. Correct stop, arched neck into good forechest, correct width with strong pasterns. Balanced and muscled. Good angulation both front and rear. Strong hocks, well developed ribs and good return of stifle. Firm topline held on the move. Presented a clean outline. Moved with purpose and drive. Well handled and in excellent condition. A stunning bitch who you can not help but admire. Pleased to award her Best Bitch and Best In Show.
2nd – Lux Ch Amazon BreathlessAnother quality bitch I have watched ringside for some time, she has matured well. Feminine, elegant yet strong, with a clean, balanced outline, good head with alert expression. Good forechest with correct sloping topline, good tuck up, well angulated, parallel forelegs and strong hocks. Moved with drive and purpose. Well handled, really pleased to award her Reserve Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show.
