Bitch Judge: Mr Joe Smith
My thanks for the invitation to award tickets for the first time, the entry was high numerically and certainly quality wise, the committee made me feel most welcome and my two stewards were two lovely ladies who kept things going smoothly.
I have judged Dobermanns since the mid seventies and have always followed the breed with great interest, had I not been smitten with Boxers in the early sixties this would have been the breed for me, having said that its never too late and I can still see myself with a nice brown bitch, who knows, maybe one day.

Open Bitch (8)
1st,Burnett, Hall & Mycroft, Supetas Feels Like Heaven At Zuffenhausen, 5 year old black and rust bitch, I have judged twice before, she was my best puppy bitch at Birmingham Dobe club in 2009, then as a gangly teenager she appeared in a working group under me where I gave a group 4, I am sure much to the disappointment of her owners, today however we had the finished package, classic Dobermann profile and so well balanced, feminine head with dark eye and good bite, strong muzzle. that complimented her skull elegant neck, clean front and super shoulder placement with good length of upper arm, deep brisket, correct rib and loin, slightly sloping topline with correct croup and tailset. She moved as if she knew today was her time, a truly beautiful animal who I was delighted to award the CC and Best In Show

3rd Pieters, Ch. Supeta’s Grace Kelly of Ostertag.
